As a judge, last November, for the Fingal LEO “Ireland’s Best Young Entrepreneur” (#IBYE) finals, I was struck by the exceptional potential of the finalists in all three categories. This has been borne out at last night’s #IBYE Dublin Regional Final when both Kevin Kelleher of Ostoform and Alan Hickey of We Bringg won the Best Idea category and the Best Start-up categories respectively. Both businesses display enormous promise and I think both have a real chance of carrying off the top prizes at the IBYE national finals to be held in May. Go n-éirí an beirt agaibh!

Also as part of my role as a Business #Mentor with LEO Fingal I will be supporting Local Enterprise Week 5th – 10th March 2018. Preparations are taking place for an exciting series of events. Facilitating 2017 “Strategy Day” for the Mediators Institute of Ireland
In the coming weeks, I have two major #facilitation projects. The first is on February 12 when I will be supporting the Council members of the Mediators’ Institute of Ireland (MII)to get the most out of their strategic planning day. Now that the Mediation Act has been commenced on January 1st last the MII is further developing it’s strategies to exploit the potential of the Act and advance the professional practice of #mediation on the island of Ireland.
On the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of March I will once again be the conference moderator for the European Ideas Lab in Brussels. Right now I am working with the team, including our 3 person facilitation team with Lara Listens and Jakob Kohlbrenner to deliver the best conditions for the participants, and build on the great success of the 2017 event!
