One of the highlights of my work this week was engaging as a mentor with the Ingenuity Start your Own Business Programme http://isax.ie/groups/ingenuity-mature-entrepreneurs/. This LEO initiative helps train, guide and encourage people over 5o years of age to start a new business.
I led a group of four entrepreneurs.Each of them provided a short presentation of their business concept. Each highlighted the stumbling blocks that were causing them the greatest problems in progressing their initiative. Collectively we provided feedback, perspective and suggestions on how each could overcome their issues. Each participant identified a key task that they will now complete before we meet again in one months time. It was an inspiring and enjoyable session.
